Lehigh finishes up at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – Junior Livia Amado shot a 151 over two rounds (76, 75) and finished as Lehigh’s top finisher and fifth overall at the Princeton Invitational this weekend. The Mountain Hawks shot a 644 (325, 319) as a team during the tournament and finished tenth out of 15 schools in attendance, while Harvard finished with a 613 overall and placed first. Rounding out the top five were Princeton (615), St. John’s (626), Columbia (627) and Rollins (629).
Other Mountain Hawks that competed this weekend in New Jersey were Ana Nam who finished with a 160 after shooting an 81 and a 79 (tied for 33rd), Jen Nagel who shot a 161 (81, 80) and tied for 38th place, Jasmin Hughes who shot a 172 (88, 84, tied for 71st place) and Caroline Boyer who wound up with a 174 after rounds of 90 and 84 and finished in a tie for 76th place. Georgetown’s Chelsea Curtis (72, 75 = 147) and Renee Cloutier (71, 76 = 147) of St. John’s shared the individual crown as they both shot 147.
Lehigh is back in action on October 4 when the Mountain Hawks travel to Williamsburg, Virginia to compete at the 2008 ECAC Championships.
