KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Behind Livia Amado’s one round total of 79, Lehigh won the Kutztown Invitational on Friday afternoon with a team score of 331, edging out the host Golden Bears, who shot a 335.  Amado tied for first place overall along with Kutztown’s Kelly Pry, who also shot a 79.  McDaniel finished third in the team standings with a score of 370, followed by West Chester (387) and East Stroudsburg (495).  All four Mountain Hawks that competed, including Caroline Boyer, Jen Nagel and Ana Nam, finished in the top-six individually.  This marks the sixth consecutive season the Brown and White has won the Kutztown Fall Invite.

Boyer shot an 82 to finish fourth overall, followed by Nagel (84) in fifth place and Nam (86) in sixth place.  Lehigh was the only school that placed each of its golfers in the top-ten overall on Friday.

Lehigh will return to action on September 20 when the Mountain Hawks head to New Jersey to compete in the Princeton Invitational.
