Lehigh falls in overtime on the road

Lehigh got on the board first, in just the second minute of play, when Vinny Devine headed in Aaron Gildner’s corner kick for his second goal of the season. The Brown and White did not wait around long to make the score 2-0, as Matt Thaeder notched his first career goal in the ninth minute. The goal came when Patrick Starsinic sent his corner kick into the box and Thaeder was able kick the ball past Michael Testa into the left side of the net.
The Lions would answer in the 42nd minute when Demetri Arnaoutakis headed the ball past Brian Lee for his first goal of the year. Tom Heinbockel fed Arnaoutakis the ball to pick up the assist.
The score would remain 2-1 at halftime, with Lehigh out shooting
The Mountain Hawks found the board early in the second half as well, when Kyle Evans put in his team leading tenth goal of the year, in the 50th minute. Evans kicked in a rebound off the shot of Alex Weisberger to pick up the goal.
The Lions would answer with two more goals coming in the 58th and 64th minutes. Fredrik Kongsli scored the goal in the 58th minute, when he was able to knock a loose ball in the box off a restart. Tom Davison added an unassisted goal six minutes later to tie the game up for
The game winner game came at 92:17, when Drew Ford’s corner kick was knocked around in the box and finally put home by Huston.
