No. 18 Mountain Hawks extend streak with 4-0 win

“Whenever you break a record, it is always a milestone for the program and individual,” said head coach Dean Koski. “Right now, our ultimate focus is with what we accomplish in the league. However, I am very pleased and proud of the team.”

The Mountain Hawks first got on the scoreboard in the 14th minute when junior Patrick Starsinic scored his first of two goals. Freshman Jesse Schram crossed the ball to Starsinic, who then shot the ball to the top right corner. Schram would go on to give Lehigh a 2-0 lead in the 25th minute as junior Joe Clemente dribbled down towards the endline and found sophomore Jim Taranto lurking in the box.
In the second half,
Lehigh held the Rams to just four shots—only two of which were on goal. Morahan recorded two critical saves in the second half. Freshman Chris Varga came into the game in the 76th minute and had no saves.
