Three games complete at 2005 Patriot League tournament

– The 2005 Patriot League softball tournament is well underway at Lehigh’s Kaufman Field, with three games in the books. In the conclusion of the opening game that was suspended Saturday, second seed Army rallied to top Colgate by a 4-3 score. In game two, No. 4 Bucknell touched Lehigh starter Heather Hamasaki for four earned runs in two and two-thirds innings as the Bison rolled to a 6-1 victory over top seeded Lehigh.
In the first elimination game, Lehigh used a complete game effort from senior hulrler Emily Ling (17-5) to top Colgate by a 4-0 score, eliminating the Raiders.
The 3:00 game pits undefeated Army against unbeaten Bucknell, with the winner advancing to the championship. The loser will take on Lehigh at approximately 5:00 in an elimination game.
