Lehigh rolls to Sunday sweep of Drexel

The Lehigh women had no problem slaying the Dragons, first taking all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-1. Then the Mountain Hawks reeled off six singles victories, all in straight sets. The men also swept through doubles competition and like their female counterparts swept through six singles matches with little resistance.
Head coach Dave Shook was pleased with the men’s effort against tough opponents like Brown, Stetson and
“The guys enjoyed playing today,” Shook said. “They were able to utilize their skills and what they have learned playing some top ranked teams.”
As for the women Shook is also pleased with how they have been playing.
“They’re playing well and our record is good. The women are on a roll,” Shook said.
Next weekend the teams will head south to play four
“We’re going to play hard and play well. I just don’t know if it will be well enough to beat these teams,” Shook said.
The Lehigh women will return to the court on Sunday, March 6 against
