Lehigh too much for American, falls to Army

The Lehigh quartet of seniors Ross Green and Jess Dudley, junior Grant Flothmeier, and sophomore Tom Gilbert picked up a win in the 200 yard medley relay. The Mountain Hawks’ posted a time of 1:36.21 to win the event, besting an Army team by just .03 seconds. Meanwhile, the Lehigh women earned a win in the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:41.16. That squad consisted of senior Dana Berkowitz, junior Alyssa Zellner, sophomore Betsy Balaguer, and freshman Therese Mongan.
Individually, Lehigh sophomore Julie Mitchell took first place in the 100 yard backstroke, with a time of 1:01.06. Teammate Kristin Pawlowski, a senior, took third in that event with a time of 1:02.01. Flothmeier, part of the 200 yard medley relay team, captured first place in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 58.87 seconds. Green, also a member of the relay team, grabbed a first place finish in the 200 yard butterfly (1:55.18) and the 100 yard butterfly (50.92).
