Princeton, NJ – Freshman Yvonne Kukora shot a 164 over two days to lead Lehigh at the Princeton Fall Invitational, held at Sprinngdale Golf Club. Kukora has paced the Mountain Hawks in every outing so far this season, and her showing at Princeton once again led the way. She finished 19th overall. As a team, Lehigh shot a 703 to finish 12th in the 15 team field. The host Tigers won the event with a 621 – 21 strokes ahead of second place Yale.
Kukora’s 164 was 20-over-par, and good for a 19th place finish. Senior captain Alexis Foucek tied for 54th with a 179 (92-87). Other Mountain Hawks taking part in the event included junior Sarah March (91-89-180) and freshman Allison Juster (93-87-180). Princeton’s Avery Kiser posted a +5 189 to win the event for the second straight year.
The Mountain Hawks don’t get much of a respite, as Lehigh returns to the links on Monday. On that day, the Mountain Hawks will compete in the Mt. St. Mary’s Invitational in Emmitsburg, Md.
