In doubles, Jon Swanson and Randall Smalley survived a tie-break to beat Alex Tunjic and Reda Akbil 9-8 (5). Lehigh swept the other two doubles sets, as Ty Esler and Alfredo Fernandez-Concha won 8-2 over Ilija Tunjic and Nevzat Cubukcu and Andrew Shapiro and Ryan Lloyd held off Walid El Jebbari and Keith Juaniza 8-6 to take the doubles point.
After Alex Tunjic bested Esler in top flight singles 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, Lehigh rattled off three straight wins to clinch the victory. Smalley, Lloyd, and Fernandez-Concha were all winners. After Ilija Tunjic beat Brad Nelson 2-6, 7-6, 10-5, Evan Volkman continued his good play over the weekend with an 8-5 win over Juaniza.
