Mountain Hawks outlast Army for first Patriot League win

West Point, NY – The Mountain Hawks picked up their first Patriot League victory Saturday night defeating Army 1-0. With the win Lehigh improves to 7-3-1 overall, 1-1-1 in the Patriot League. The Black Knights are 3-8-1 (0-3-0 Patriot League).
After the teams played a scoreless first half, the Mountain Hawks broke through in the 76th minute as Adam Williamson scored his third goal of the season on a feed from Joe Verdi.
The Lehigh defense was strong as senior goalkeeper Sam Bishop recorded his third shutout of the season, making two saves. Lehigh outshot Army 11-7 and had four corner kicks compared to three for the Black Knights.
The Mountain Hawks are back in action Tuesday night when they welcome the Blue Hens of Delaware to the Ulrich Sports Complex. Game time set for
