Lehigh finishes eleventh at Rutgers

Piscataway, NJ – Freshman Kassia Nelson once again paced Lehigh as the Mountain Hawks finished in a tie for eleventh place at the two-day Rutgers Invitational. Nelson’s 164 helped lead Lehigh to a 695 team score (tied with Old Dominion). Boston College won the event with a 606.
Nelson fired an 83 on Saturday and rebounded with an 81 en route to becoming the top Lehigh scorer on Sunday. Sophomore Sarah March recorded a 171 overall, while senior co-captain Danielle Kochenour shot a 178. Sophomore Lauren Barton (184) and junior Moriah Britt (188) capped the Lehigh finishers.
The Mountain Hawks return to the links next weekend, taking part in the Hofstra Invitational.
