Karen Siegel
Karen Siegel enters her fifth season as an assistant coach with the Lehigh women’s golf team. Siegel will primarily assist with student-athlete recruitment and will also help out with Spring Break and in-season competitions. Siegel is a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor with a focus on sports nutrition. She previously assisted the Mountain Hawks in a volunteer role, helping out at the Patriot League Championship and the Lehigh Fall Invitational.
 
As a player, Siegel is a scratch golfer with a current handicap of +.6, who has successfully competed in regional and national tournaments including the USGA Women’s MidAm Championship, USGA Women’s Senior Championship, and the North, South Senior Championship. She remains active on the Women’s Golf Association of Philadelphia’s tournament circuit with numerous tournament wins and top five finishes. Most notably, Siegel won the 2013 and 2014 Farnum Cup Championships (WGAP Stroke Play) and was awarded the Silver Cross, which recognizes the Women’s Golf Association of Philadelphia’s Player of the Year, in both years. She has also won several club championships.
 
Over her nearly 20-year playing career, Siegel has served in leadership positions as an Executive Board Member of the Women’s Golf Association of Philadelphia, Platt Trust Club Director of the Golf Association of Philadelphia, a member of the Commonwealth National’s Board of Governors, and Tournament Chairman of the Commonwealth National Golf Club.
 
Siegel is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she studied both Engineering and Business. She is a certified human resource professional with experience in human resource management and insurance. She had previously led the human resources departments of several large companies. She currently works as a consultant to analyze, manage and recommend solutions to human resource initiatives.
