Why Lehigh?: “Lehigh is an outstanding academic school which originally drew me to the school as well as the coaching staff and extremely welcoming environment.”
As a first-year: Started all 54 games, primarily at second base… four-time Patriot League Rookie of the Week… led Lehigh with seven home runs… was perfect 16-for-16 in stolen base attempts…. Went 7-for-11 with three runs scored and six RBIs in series at Holy Cross in late April… game-winning two-run home run in eighth inning versus Iona (3/14)… drove in seven runs in series sweep at Colgate… went 3-for-3 with an RBI double against Furman (3/3)… went 3-for-4 with a triple and a home run against Penn (3/29) … named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
In high school: All-league honoree and Offensive Player of the Year… played travel softball for OC Batbusters… ran track as a high school senior.
Personal: Daughter of Alicia Owens… brother Niccolo… mother played softball at Hawaii Hilo… father played basketball at Hawaii Hilo.
