Five Mountain Hawks Named to All-Patriot League Teams

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Following a fifth-place regular season finish and the program's fourth Patriot League Tournament berth in the last six years, the Lehigh women's soccer team has placed five student-athletes on the All-Patriot League teams, as announced on Friday. Senior Erin Keefe was named to the first team and freshman Corinne Lyght to the second team, while senior Courtney Supp, junior Ryelle Shuey and sophomore Ava Schaller all garnered third-team recognition.

Lehigh's five All-League honorees are its most since 2017, when it also had five.

Keefe was named All-League for a second straight season, after garnering second team All-Patriot League and third team All-Region last spring. An anchor and center back of the Mountain Hawks' defense, Keefe has helped Lehigh post a 1.44 goals against average – good for fifth in the league – which includes one or fewer goals in 11 contests. She also tallied an assist in a 2-1 home win over defending MAAC Champion Siena.

Lyght made a huge impact during her rookie season, especially in Patriot League games. She finished with three goals and three assists, having a hand in all six goals across the Mountain Hawks' first three league victories (2-1 wins over Lafayette, Holy Cross and Colgate). At Lafayette, Lyght assisted on a 90th-minute goal to break a 1-1 tie while against Colgate, she scored in the 90th minute to give the Mountain Hawks a 2-1 victory. Lyght's nine points on the season are tied for second on the team overall and tops in Patriot League games.

The honor marks Supp's first of her career; she was named Academic All-Patriot League last spring. Supp's four goals and nine points on the year mark career highs, breaking previous marks of three and eight during her rookie campaign of 2018. She has scored goals in league games – at Lafayette, Navy and American – while also scoring in the Mountain Hawks' win over Siena. Supp dished an assist in a 3-3 draw vs. Army West Point as well. The four goals are tied for the team lead, while her nine points are tied for second.

Shuey has one goal on the season, vs. Army West Point, but her impact goes far beyond statistics as a key member of the Mountain Hawks' midfield. A second team All-Patriot League honoree last season, Shuey has started all 16 games and has recorded 26 shots (eight on goal), making her mark on both ends of the field.

Schaller leads the Mountain Hawks in points this fall (11) via four goals and three assists. She's scored goals vs. Drexel, Siena, Army and Holy Cross while dishing three assists against Wagner. Schaller's latest, and most dramatic, goal came in the 80th minute vs. Holy Cross to give the Mountain Hawks a 2-1 lead, and a key Patriot League victory. She also leads Lehigh in shots (34) and shots on goal (16).

The fifth-seeded Mountain Hawks will return to action on Sunday when they travel to fourth-seeded Bucknell for the Patriot League Quarterfinals. Gametime is set for 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
