Why Lehigh?: “For the excellent academics and competitive athletics. Lehigh provides its students with a plethora of opportunities inside and outside the classroom, and it quickly became an institution I wanted to be a part of.”
As a junior (2021): Did not see any game action… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a sophomore (spring 2021): Opted out of season.
As a freshman (2019): Appeared in two games… made Lehigh debut against Georgetown (10/26)… also saw time against Holy Cross (11/2)… made a tackle against Georgetown.
In high school: All-League wide receiver as a junior and senior… on defense made 64 tackles in nine games as a senior with 15 tackles for loss… also lettered in soccer where he was all-league as a goalkeeper and striker in final two seasons… won Scholar-Athlete award in both sports.
Personal: Son of Steve Kalmbach and step mother Eva Peralta Kalmbach… has younger sister Ella and step siblings Fuad and Lily.
