Why Lehigh? “From the excellent academics to the amazing tradition the University presents, I knew this was the future home for me.”
On Coach Coen: “All of the coaches showed enthusiasm and love for the game and it inspired me to want to become a Mountain Hawk.”
On the student-athlete experience: “I am honored to be part of a University with such a strong academic/athletic reputation such as Lehigh.”
As a senior (2014): Appeared in all 11 games with eight starts at tight end… tied for fourth on the team with 17 receptions… had four catches at Yale (9/20), all of which went for first downs… caught only touchdown of the season vs. Fordham (10/25)… matched career-long with 31 yard reception versus Bucknell.
As a junior (2013): Started nine games at tight end… caught two touchdowns in final game of season versus Lafayette… career-best 71 yards on four catches versus Georgetown… six catches for 53 yards and one touchdown at Columbia…had two receptions for 21 yards versus CCSU.
As a sophomore (2012): Appeared in all 11 games, making four starts at tight end… finished with ten receptions for 77 yards and three touchdowns… had two receptions for 16 yards at CCSU (9/8)… caught three passes for 31 yards and first career touchdown versus Bucknell (10/20)… caught touchdowns in each of Lehigh’s final two games.
As a freshman (2011): Did not see any varsity action.
In high school: All-Conference, All-County and All-State selection by the N.J. Coaches Association… defensive team MVP… All-County and All-Conference performer in basketball…volunteers at Starlight Ranch for children with disabilities.
Personal: Son of Wayne and Barbara Sue (Sissy)… has two sisters, Michelle and Jennifer… enjoys film and editing during his free time.
