Why Lehigh?: “Lehigh is an incredible research university that will allow me to explore my academic interests in numerous ways. I am extremely excited to study mechanical and aerospace engineering and participate in clubs like Engineers Without Borders. I also love the coaches and players in the football program, which has a family-like atmosphere. The tradition is also very exciting.”
As a senior (2024): Appeared in 12 games, primarily on special teams… credited with tackle against Colgate (11/16) … named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a junior (2023): Played in all 11 games as a reserve defensive back and on special teams… finished with four tackles… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a sophomore (2022): Saw time in four games on special teams.
As a first year (2021): Appeared in one game, against Holy Cross (10/30)… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
In high school: Team captain… part of leadership group that participated in new head coach selection process… also competed in track and field and was member of school’s first-ever boys volleyball team… honor roll student… member of California Scholarship Federation… National Honor Society member.
Personal: Son of Gloria Rhynes and Darrell Jenkins… has one sibling, Morgan… father played football at San Jose State.
