Player profile: team captain and starting linebacker … one of the strongest players on roster … in 2009 … limited to seven games due to injury … totaled 35 tackles, 5.5 tackles-for-loss, 2.5 sacks, one interception and one pass breakup … season best 12 tackles, including one-for-loss as well as the game-clinching interception in Lehigh’s win over archrival Lafayette … ten tackles and two QB hurries vs. Harvard … five tackles and 1.5 sacks in win over Georgetown … totaled four tackles, including two-for-loss vs. Princeton … as a junior … appeared in all 11 games … finished with 50 tackles, including 6.0-for-loss and two sacks … also intercepted two passes and forced one fumble … season-high nine tackles, including two-for-loss in win over archrival Lafayette … seven or more tackles in five games … picked off passes versus Cornell and Georgetown … returned INT at Georgetown 37 yards for first collegiate touchdown … also played some running back, totaling 24 yards rushing on five carries … caught two passes out of the backfield for 40 yards … as a sophomore … appeared in all 11 games, mostly on special teams … as a freshman … missed nearly the entire season with a hand injury … in secondary school … captain of football and wrestling teams … All-County running back ….
