Why Lehigh? “When I first visited the school, I loved it.  The people, the spirit and the beautiful campus immediately attracted me.  It seemed to have just the right balance for me academically and athletically.”

 

On Coach Simpkins: “He’s a great coach.  I liked how he took time with me and helped me and my parents through the whole process.  His interest, passion and knowledge of the game along with his evident support of the team make him a great coach.”

 

As a freshman … shot a 178 (89, 85) in collegiate debut at the Bucknell Invitational, placing in a tie for 45th … tied for 71st place at the Princeton Invitational with a score of 172 (88, 84) … shot a 184 (86, 98) at the Kelly Gutshall Invitational … tied for 25th place at the Savannah Arts and Design Invite with a score of 84 … shot a 174 (84, 90) at the First Market Bank Invitational to place  in a tie for 99th place.

 

In high school … won the Suburban One League Girls Championship in 2005 and 2007 … placed seventh in the 2006 District One Tournament and in the 2006 Eastern Regional … finished 20th in the 2006 state tournament and 12th in 2007 … honored as Courier Times 2007 Golfer of the Year ... three time First-Team Al-County selection … won the International Junior Golf Tour Championships in October 2007 … participated in the United States vs. Bahamas Match Play Tournament (2006) … Honor Roll member … American Mathematics Competition participant.
