Why Lehigh? “I chose Lehigh because it allows me to pursue my major as well as to be more competitive in my golf game.  Lehigh helps me to continually stay active, while being challenged academically and athletically.”

 

On Coach Simpkins: “Coach Simpkins is a very passionate person.  Ever since I met him he has always been very caring for his team, making sure in anyway through golf or academics, that each person has a great experience at Lehigh.  I really appreciate all of the help and effort he has made in order to get me here; it’s something that you can’t find anywhere else.”

 

As a freshman … shot a 169 (83, 86) at the Bucknell Invitational … tied for 39th place at the ECAC Division I Women’s Golf Championships with a score of 163 (83, 80) … totaled 176 ( 86, 90) at the Rutgers Invitational, placing in a tie for 61st place … shot a 188 (98, 90) at the Kelly Gutshall Invitational …

 

In high school … finished 2006 season with an individual record of 10-1 … earned All-League and All-County honors … member of the Suffolk County team that won New York’s first-ever state championship … in 2007, shot rounds of 82 and 91 to finish tenth in the state and help lead Section XI to its second straight New York state championship … traveled to Romania for a nine-month stay as part of an exchange program … member of Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, and Wind Ensemble … NYSSPHAA Scholar Athlete.
