Why Lehigh: βIt had all I was looking for with accordance to academics as well as athletics. I am looking forward to majoring in mechanical engineering and Lehigh has one of the best engineering programs in the country. I was recruited to wrestle and I am very fortunate as well as grateful to be wrestling for a top ten nationally ranked Division 1 wrestling program.β
In 2007-08: Thrust into the starting lineup midseason at 184⦠displayed tremendous athleticism but lacked college wrestling experience⦠picked up only win of season at East Stroudsburg Open⦠went 0-2 at both University Nationals and the Northeast Regional tournament.
In secondary school: Holds career and single season win records at Fordham Prepβ¦ undefeated in the CHSAA in last two years of high schoolβ¦ placed fifth in the state at 189 as a juniorβ¦ Cadet and Junior nationals qualifier... four year member of Principalβs honor roll.
Personal: Son of Denise Davis⦠brothers Patrick Stanford (22), Solomon Ellis (14) and Quinton Ellis (8)⦠enjoys football, basketball and track.
