Why Lehigh? “I chose to attend Lehigh because of the highly respected academic environment the school offers. In addition to the strong academics, it has an emerging golf program which I am excited to be a part of. Being able to attend a school where golf and academics are balanced only made my decision that much easier.”
As a junior… led Lehigh in five of nine tournaments… posted two individual top ten finishes… opened fall season by tying for 26th at Bison Invitational with a score of 235… finished ninth overall at Yale Invitational, shooting a 226 (81, 72, 73)… tied for 13th at Lehigh Invitational at 160 (79, 81)… opened sp
ring season with sixth place finish at Sunshine Spring Classic… led Mountain Hawks with top 20 finishes at final three spring events: C&F Bank Invitational, Spider Intercollegiate and Roar-EE Invitational… led team with 77.9 stroke average in 23 rounds.
As a sophomore … posted three individual top ten finishes… tied for seventh at the Bucknell Invitational (228) and the Nittany Lion Invitational with a total of 224 (76, 71, 77)… opened spring season with seventh place finish at Sunshine Spring Classic at 162 (81, 81)… tied for 18th place at Roar-EE Invitational with a score of 122 (83, 39) … tied for 21st place with a 159 (80, 79) at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate …tied for 27th at the Rutgers Invitational with a 166 (85, 81).
As a freshman…tied for 26th at the Bucknell Invitational, shooting a 243 (80, 83, 80)…tied for 49th place shooting a 169 (86, 83) at the Princeton Invitational…tied for 13th after shooting a 161 (80, 81) at the ECAC Championship…tied for 44th at the Rutgers Invitational, shooting a 167 (85, 82)…tied for 22nd at the Lehigh Invitational having shot a 167 (84, 83)…shot a 165 (85, 80), tying for 47th place at the William and Mary Invitational…shot a 173 at the Hoya Invitational…tied for 39th at the Roar EE Invitational, shooting a 161.
In high school … four-year varsity golfer … four-time All-Conference selection … 2008 Conference Player of the Year … won three tournaments in the summer of 2008 in the Illinois Junior Golf Association … had two top-20 finishes at the Illinois High School Championships … won the 2008 GCAC Conference and the IHSA Regional Tournament … shot a 74 at the Illinois State Junior Championships at Cog Hill … received distinguished academic honors all four years … graduated with honors.
