Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll…Played in 11 games, making nine starts as the senior captain…Ripped 16 shots on the season, seven on-goal…Played 754 minutes on the pitch...Captained one of the Patriot League’s stingiest defenses, as he and the rest of the Mountain Hawks allowed just 24 goals in 29 Patriot League games since 2009…Was a candidate for the Lowes Senior CLASS Award for his contributions on and off-the-field.
Started in 17 games for the Mountain Hawks…Team's co-captain...Named All-Patriot League Second Team...Was part of a Lehigh defense that ranked No. 3 in the nation in shutout percentage (0.61) and goals against average (0.41)...Tallied a career-high three points...Scored first career goal, an equalizer in the 80th minute vs Penn on 10/11...Added an assist in a 3-0 win over Army on 11/5...Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2010 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Started all 18 games for the Mountain Hawks…Earned first-collegiate point with an assist on the game-winner against Princeton (9/7) to help Lehigh earn its 500th program victory...Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2009 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Saw time in one game, making his collegiate debut against Brown (9/6).
BEFORE LEHIGH:
Cameron Omsberg is a midfielder who comes to Lehigh from Messalonskee High School in Belgrade, Maine. Omsberg was a three-time All-Conference selection in four years at Messalonskee. He also was named team captain and MVP in his senior year, to go along with First Team All-State and Waterville Morning Sentinel Boys Soccer Player of the Year accolades. The center midfielder also earned accolades for his academics by taking home the Class of 2009 Maine Sports Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Award, which is awarded to one male and one female student-athlete each year. Omsberg attended the 2008 Lehigh Soccer I.D. Academy before committing to Lehigh.
