Why Lehigh? “I chose to attend Lehigh because of its outstanding engineering program and great FCS football program.”
On coach Coen: “I would say Coach Coen is a great coach who pushes you to excel on and off the field and is also great to be around.”
On the Lehigh student-athlete experience: “To be a Lehigh student-athlete is a great experience because you can compete on the field and in the classroom.”
As a senior (2012): First team All-Patriot League selection… ECAC All-Star… led Lehigh with 104 tackles… made career-high 17 tackles in win at HC (11/3)… made first career interception at Liberty and returned it 39 yards for a touchdown… named Patriot League and Sports Network national Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts... named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a junior (2011): Appeared in 11 games, making seven starts… ranked fourth on the team in tackles… enjoyed monster game with 13 tackles and a sack in win at Colgate… totaled seven stops in win over Holy Cross… forced a fumble in quarterfinal game at North Dakota State.
As a sophomore (2010) Appeared in all 13 games… made 29 tackles… recorded 2.5 sacks… made season high six tackles in win versus Princeton… had sacks against New Hampshire and Fordham… recipient of James S. Gum ’84 Scholarship Award at annual Brown and White Spring Games.
As a freshman (2009) Saw time in seven games … totaled six tackles, including a season best three vs. Yale … member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
In high school: All-Area First Team Defensive Line … Lehigh Valley Conference First Team Defensive Line … graduated with Distinguished Honors … NHRA Drag Racing … Power lifting.
