D1 Heads to Lake Placid for Fall Faceoff Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Lehigh University Men's Division 1 ACHA Hockey team is packing up and heading north to Lake Placid, New York, for one of the premier early-season showcases in collegiate club hockey: the ACHA Fall Faceoff Invitational.
The three-day showcase features 24 teams across five ACHA divisions competing at the historic Lake Placid Olympic Center—the legendary venue home to the 1980 "Miracle on Ice." The Mountain Hawks will take the ice across three iconic rinks inside the complex as they go head-to-head against a competitive lineup of non-conference Division 1 opponents.

Top Scorers: Forward Devin Gosciak leads the squad in goal-scoring with 3 goals and 1 assist (4 points), while Connor Wohlfahrt matches his team-high 4 points with a goal and 3 assists.

Playmaking Attack: Forward Matthew Nacinovich has been a key distributor upfront, tallying 3 assists (3 points).

Balanced Offense: Forwards Jesse Heinberg, Max Toomey, and Morgan Waddell have each chipped in 2 points to round out a balanced offensive attack.

Defensive Production: Defenseman Nikolas Cadoret has provided offense from the blue line with a game-winning goal, matched by fellow blueliner Dominic Wojtecki who has notched an assist.

Solid Goaltending: In net, Demetri Condolios anchors the defense after securing a victory in his opening start, posting a stellar 1.00 GAA and a .962 save percentage with 25 saves on 26 shots.
