**BETHLEHEM, Pa.** — Lehigh University blew open a tight game with a three-goal third period to lock down a dominant 5–1 victory over Sacred Heart University at the Steel Ice Center. Devin Gosciak sparked the Mountain Hawks early, potting a first-period power-play goal before adding his second of the night early in the middle frame to build a 2–0 lead. Sacred Heart answered back halfway through the second when Mac Goggin buried a feed from Dylan Stiles and Joseph Barroqueiro, but that would be all the offense the Pioneers could manage against Lehigh netminder Demetri Condolios, who stopped 24 of 25 shots on the night.
Lehigh put the contest out of reach in the final frame, using a relentless offensive assault that finished with 50 total shots on goal. Connor Wohlfahrt, who notched three points on the evening, restored the two-goal cushion just 1:40 into the third period before Max Toomey and Jesse Heinberg sealed the win with late tallies. Pioneer goaltender Matthew Dworkowitz put up a valiant effort under heavy pressure with 45 saves, but Lehigh's special teams and depth proved too much to handle down the stretch.
