LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Lehigh women's cross-country team competed Friday night at the Bucknell Open at the Bucknell Golf Course in Lewisburg, Pa. The race was not scored, giving the Mountain Hawks a preview of the course that will host the Patriot League Championships next weekend.

Lehigh entered runners at three distances. First-year Kitira Bravo was the lone 2K runner, finishing in 6:45.8. Two sophomores ran the 4K, with Emerson Skatell clocking 14:34.9 and Katelyn Nolan 16:16.0. Junior Chloe Browne covered the full 6K in 23:26.7, followed by senior Aurora Wilson in 24:09.5.

"With the Patriot League Championships next weekend, today gave us the chance to get on the course and get a feel for what to expect next weekend," said head coach Debbie Utesch. "The runners who competed today had not competed on this course prior to today, so it was a great opportunity for them, and it allowed us to review our strategy for next weekend."

Lehigh will return to the Bucknell Golf Course on Saturday, Oct. 31, for the Patriot League Championships. The women's race begins at 11 a.m., followed by the men's at noon.
