Lehigh Tied For Seventh After 18 Holes At Irish Creek Collegiate

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Inclement weather shortened day one of the Irish Creek Collegiate to 18 holes Monday with two scores at even par lifting the Lehigh men's golf team to a round of 14 over par 294 at The Club at Irish Creek. The Mountain Hawks are tied for seventh place out of 15 teams entering Tuesday's final round.

Juniors Aiden LeBlanc and Jake Roth both shot even par 70 on Monday and sit in a tie for seventh place three strokes behind the leader Layne Lambert of Charleston Southern. LeBlanc Made three birdies in his round, while Roth made an eagle and two birdies.Â
Senior Aidan Oehrle, junior Will Caronchi and first-year Noah Zyung all shot seven over par 77 and are part of a tie for 57th place. Caronchi made two birdies in his opening round, while Zyung carded one.

Senior Jahan Bains shot 80 and is tied for 83rd place. Bains' round included one birdie.

Morehead State shot even par 280 as a team to take the team lead by four strokes over Marquette, while Old Dominion sits in third place, eight strokes back.
