Lehigh Announces 2024 Football Schedule, Ticket Timelines

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – With Lehigh's spring practice segment in full swing, the Mountain Hawks have unveiled their 2024 fall schedule. Lehigh, under the direction of second-year head coach Kevin Cahill, will play an 11-game slate this fall, including the Mountain Hawks' first FBS opponent in six years and six games at Goodman Stadium, culminating in the 160th meeting of college football's most-played rivalry when Lehigh hosts Lafayette.

The 2024 season begins with a visit to Army West Point on Friday, Aug. 30 with game time set for 6 p.m. The game will be Lehigh's first against an FBS opponent since the Mountain Hawks visited Navy in 2018 and the first against the Black Knights since 1995.
Lehigh will play its season opener on a Friday night for the second time in three seasons and the third time overall. The Mountain Hawks opened the 2022 campaign at Villanova and began the 2015 season at Central Connecticut State.
The Mountain Hawks will play three home games at Goodman Stadium in September, beginning with the home opener Sept. 7 when Lehigh hosts Wagner in what will be the Seahawks' first-ever visit to Goodman Stadium.
Lehigh will visit LIU on Sept. 14 for the first meeting between the schools since 1979 when LIU was known as C.W. Post.
September concludes with back-to-back home games as Lehigh hosts Ivy League rival Princeton on Sept. 21 and then will open Patriot League play against Bucknell on Sept. 28. The Princeton contest marks the return of Family Weekend, presented by PSECU.
The Bucknell game will be followed by two consecutive bye weeks, a scheduling anomaly created when the Army game moved from its original Oct. 12 date to Aug. 30.
Coming out of the two-week bye, Lehigh will visit Yale on Oct. 19 as Cahill returns to the school where he coached for 10 years prior to coming to Bethlehem.
Lehigh's final five games will be against Patriot League opponents, beginning Oct. 26 as the Mountain Hawks welcome Fordham to Goodman Stadium.
November begins with back-to-back Patriot League road games at Georgetown (Nov. 2) and Holy Cross (Nov. 9). Lehigh will host Colgate on Nov. 16 before closing the regular season against Lafayette in The Rivalry, presented by Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute on Nov. 23.
Lehigh is hosting The Rivalry for a second consecutive season in 2024 and will be playing four Patriot League home games and two Patriot League road games this fall. The site changes were agreed upon by Lehigh and Lafayette last spring to accommodate Lafayette's request to host the rivalry game in 2025 and 2026 to coincide with the college's bicentennial celebration during the 2025-26 school year.
