
Lehigh Wraps Up Fall By Tying For Second At Lehigh Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's golf team concluded its fall season by tying for second place at the Lehigh Invitational, which wrapped up Sunday on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley County Club. The Mountain Hawks shot 303 for the second straight day to finish the 36-hole event at 606.

Lehigh and William & Mary finished 14 strokes behind team champion Siena (592).

Junior Aiden LeBlanc was the top finisher, claiming fifth place at four over par 148 (75-73). LeBlanc made five birdies Sunday including three of his final four holes, to move into the top five.

Also finishing in the top 10 was junior Will Caronchi, who tied for ninth place at 151 (75-76). Caronchi's final round included one birdie.

Junior Jake Roth and sophomore Charles Schrohe were part of a tie for 20th place at 155. Roth shot 77-78 with two birdies Sunday, while Schrohe shot 76-79 with three birdies.

The fifth member of Lehigh's "A" team was junior Paulius Malcius, who tied for 28th place at 157 (81-76). Malcius had three birdies in Sunday's final round.

Lehigh's "B" team shot 313 Sunday to finish at 625, ahead of Monmouth and Rider. First-year Noah Zyung was also part of the tie for 20th place at 155. Zyung went 79-76 with two birdies.

Senior Jahan Bains tied for 23rd place at 156 (77-79), with sophomore Matthew Quinn and first-year Luke Block part of the tie for 28th at 157. Both players made one birdie on Sunday with Quinn going 77-80 and Block scoring 79-80.

Brandon Conner of Binghamton was the individual medalist at three under par 141 (67-74). Conner beat Mike McConie of Siena by five strokes.
