BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Senior Lindsay MacLellan was named the women's cross country Patriot League Runner of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.

MacLellan earned the honor following a first-place finish during Saturday's Lehigh vs. Lafayette rivalry dual meet 6k race, clocking in with a time of 21:56.10. The win marked MacLellan's first of her career and her first runner of the week distinction.

The Mountain Hawks picked up the dual meet victory by a score of 18-43 on Saturday, extending their win streak over the Leopards to 18 consecutive meets. Women's cross country's win over Lafayette was both the first rivalry competition and win for the 2023-24 academic year.

Lehigh will next race at their annual Paul Short Run, which is one of the biggest races in the entire country. The women's 6k race is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m.
