
Lehigh Edged by Seton Hall

WEST ORANGE, N.J. - Looking to capture its third straight win, the Lehigh women's swimming and diving team came up short, falling 136-105 to Seton Hall Saturday afternoon.Â
Lehigh is 2-2 on the season, and the Pirates are 3-1.Â
Sarah Hardy continued her winning ways. Hardy won the 400-yard IM (4:27.76), the 100-yard butterfly (56.10) and helped lead the 200-yard medley relay to a first-place finish (1:47.01).Â
Anushree Ghate, Danielle Prekop and Noel Fresa were also on the winning 200-yard medley relay team.Â
Behind Hardy in the 100-yard butterfly was Jordan MacDonald and Natalie Martin. MacDonald came in second (58.80), and Martin took home a third-place finish (1:00.14).Â
Prekop was the only other Mountain Hawks to capture a win on Saturday. Prekop tallied a first-place mark in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.67.Â
While Hardy and Hardy had the lone wins for Lehigh, there were still some strong performances.Â
Caitlin Deitch swam to a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.13). Ludwig was right behind her, tallying a third place mark with a time of 1:55.74.Â
Lehigh captured second in the one-meter and three-meter dive. Sarah Gill scored 238.05 points in the one-meter dive to finish in second, and Kate Whitaker scored 227.80 points in the three-meter dive to take second place.Â
Lehigh will have another break before taking on Lafayette on Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. at Jacobs Pool.Â
