
Mountain Hawks Finish Up Action at the Big Texan Invitational

KERRVILLE, Texas – The Lehigh men's golf team finished their spring season opener at the Big Texan Invitational at Comanche Trace shooting 319 in the final round to finish 13th place. The Mountain Hawks finished with a final total of 945, with team rounds of 324, 302 and 319.
Junior Daniel Song led the Mountain Hawks on the final day with a score of 73, including three birdies, all of which came on par 5s. Song shot a three-day total of 230 (80-77-73) and was Lehigh's best finisher as he tied for 41st place.
Sophomore Marco Arosemena was Lehigh's next best finisher at 238 (81-73-84) and tied for 55th place.
Junior David Hurly shot 239 (81-74-84) and finished in a tie for 58th place. Hurly's second round on Monday included three birdies and Lehigh's only eagle.
Sophomore Edmund Broderick recorded a team-high four birdies on the final day to shoot 81. He finished with a score of 246 (87-78-81) placing in 63rd. Junior Sam Barton finished one stroke back at 247 (82-84-81) and recorded two birdies on the day.
Seton Hall captured the team title at 12 over par 876 (290-287-299). The Pirates posted a four stroke victory over runner-up University of New Orleans.
Northern Colorado's TJ Shehee was the individual medalist at four under par 212 (69-70-73). He posted a two shot victory over three players tied for second.
Lehigh men's golf will look to get back in action at the Columbia Spring Invitational on Apr. 4 at Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield, Pa.
