BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh volleyball squad returns to Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall for a pair of Patriot League matches this weekend. The Mountain Hawks will take on Bucknell on Saturday at 4 p.m. when the program hosts their "Dig Pink" match, with all donations going to the Side-Out Foundation. Lehigh then hosts Lafayette on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Rivalry Presented by Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute, which will be broadcast on ESPN+.

The Mountain Hawks, who are 11-10 overall and 2-7 in Patriot League play, are coming off of a straight set loss to Loyola (Md.) that took place in Baltimore this past Saturday.

First-year Natalie Luscomb, who ranks second in kills for the Mountain Hawks, picked up six kills and three digs while sophomore Megan Schulte, the team-leader in kills, recorded five kills and eight digs. She averages 3.54 kills per set and has tallied 237 kills so far this season.

Sophomore Makena Smith tallied 17 assists against Loyola to go with three blocks, two digs and one kill. She currently leads the team with 690 assists this season.

Bucknell is currently 11-7 on the season and 4-5 in league play coming off of a 3-0 loss to Army West point last weekend. The Bison will take on Lafayette on Friday before coming to Bethlehem on Saturday.

Junior Catherine Jamison leads the Bison with 220 kills this season while freshman Bri Frazilus follows close behind with 204 kills. Bucknell also has two setters with over 300 assists this year, led by freshmen duo Caleigh O'Connell with 350 and Laura Caro with 317.

The Mountain Hawks are searching for their 55th win against Bucknell on Saturday as Lehigh will look to break the Bison two-match winning streak this weekend.

Lafayette will come to Grace Hall on Sunday for The Rivalry Presented by Lehigh Orthopedic Institute. The Leopards are 6-10 overall and 3-6 in Patriot League action ahead of their matches this weekend after defeating Holy Cross in straight sets a week ago.

Lafayette is led by sophomore Abby Nieporte with 177 kills while freshman Carol Ulichney recorded 141 kills. Junior Alyssa Vitale has registered 347 assists on the season while fellow junior Grace Gibson and freshman Hannah Ehrich-Pollock both lead the Leopards with 23 blocks.

Lehigh will search for its 63rd victory over Lafayette on Saturday afternoon and their first win in The Rivalry since October of 2019. In their previous meeting this season, Lehigh suffered a 3-1 loss in Easton.

Following this weekend's action, Lehigh will hit the road for a pair of Patriot League contests at Army West Point on Saturday Oct. 28, followed by Holy Cross on Saturday, Oct.29.
