BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After three consecutive weeks of Keith Higgins Jr. winning Patriot League Rookie of the Week, it was his teammate's turn on Monday as Tyler Whitney-Sidney earned the honor for the first time in his career. Whitney-Sidney scored in double figures in both games last week, highlighted by career highs in points (19) and assists (4) in Wednesday's win over Army West Point.

Thirteen of Whitney-Sidney's points vs. the Black Knights and three of his assists came in the second half, shooting 5-of-6 from the floor over the final 20 minutes. He finished the game 7-of-10 from the field and also had two steals. With Lehigh trailing 44-42 in the second half, Whitney-Sidney hit a 3-pointer and followed with a steal and layup – all in the span of 12 seconds – to put the Mountain Hawks ahead for good. Whitney-Sidney followed on Friday with 11 more points at Holy Cross - the fourth time in the last six games in double figures. For the season, he's averaging 8.6 points and 3.4 rebounds in Patriot League play. Senior Jeameril Wilson also garnered honorable mention on the weekly honor roll after averaging 14.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists, including his fourth-career double-double at Holy Cross.

The Mountain Hawks return home this week for two games - hosting Navy on Wednesday, Feb. 2 and Boston University on Saturday, Feb. 5. Wednesday's game will be Salute to Service presented by Weis Markets. To purchase tickets online, please click here.
