BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After scoring Lehigh women's soccer's first two goals in Thursday's 4-0 win over Wagner, junior Julianna Bonner has been named Patriot League Midfielder of the Week, as announced on Monday. The goals came in the span of 8:44 in the first half, marking her first two goals of the season and second and third of her career.

Bonner was a spark off the bench, entering the game at 21:54. Less than five minutes later, she gave Lehigh a 1-0 lead at the 26:22 mark before making it 2-0 at 35:06. The junior also had a shot on goal on Sunday at Seton Hall. In addition, Bonner played a role in the Mountain Hawks pitching their first shutout of the season vs. Wagner and allowing just one goal over two games.

Freshman Abby Trainor was also recognized on Monday among the honorable mentions on the Patriot League weekly honor roll. Trainor made four saves in her first-career shutout, and win.

The Mountain Hawks return to action on Saturday when they host Army West Point at 5 p.m. in the Patriot League opener for both sides. The match can be seen live on ESPN+.
