
Freshman Holland Paces Mountain Hawks At Knights Schootout

WATCHUNG, N.J. – Freshman Sophie Holland shot five over par 77 to finish in fourth place, leading the Mountain Hawks at the Knights Shootout Sunday at Watchung Valley Golf Club. As a team, Lehigh shot 331 to finish seventh in a 10 team field.
Holland finished five strokes behind individual medalist Caterina Tatti of host Fairleigh Dickinson. Senior Angela Ding also posted a top five finish, carding a 79 to tie for ninth place.
Sophomore Iris Shin was Lehigh's No. 3 finisher, tying for 23rd place with a round of 83. Classmate Hannah Foster shot 92 and tied for 48th place, while sophomore Marina Mendez finished in 58th place with a 107.
St. John's captured the team title with a score of 310 including four players in the top 10. Fairleigh Dickinson finished second, seven strokes off the lead.
Lehigh will play home-and-home dual matches with Bucknell next weekend. The Mountain Hawks will host the Bison at the Steel Club next Saturday and will travel to Lewisburg on Sunday.
