Open Recreation field use approved

Open Recreation Field Use (3/19/2021)

The Department of Athletics is pleased to announce to the Lehigh Community the CRT has approved our submitted plan for open recreational use which includes:

Sayre Fields located at top and left at Mountain Drive
Goodman Campus – open spaces located in front of Goodman Stadium
Club Sport fields – next to the gravel parking lots adjacent to Stabler Arena

These fields will be available starting March 22^nd. Participants are responsible to bring their own equipment. Parking is restricted to the paved and gravel parking lots adjacent to Stabler Arena, and no parking is permitted along roadways or on grass areas.

As per the CRT and University Guidelines:

Please limit your group size to no more than 15 people
Maintain 6' social distancing
Wear a cloth face covering in any public space and in any circumstance where interacting with others on campus.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is requiring the use of cloth face coverings when in public.
Complete the daily self assessment on the Hawkwatch app before accessing Lehigh University Campus
Stay home if you feel unwell.

The fields may be deemed off limits due to heavy rains for safety and field preservation.

Note: Recreation on Varsity Athletic/Intercollegiate practice fields is not permitted
