Patriot League Announces Adjustments to Remaining Basketball Schedules

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League announced a complete slate of schedule adjustments for the final three weekends of the men's and women's basketball regular seasons on Tuesday. League play continues to be contingent on the League and its member institutions being able to conduct competition in ways that protect the health and safety of student-athletes, coaches, staffs and their communities.

The revised men's and women's basketball schedules focus on playing postponed games within the Patriot League's three regional divisions for seeding League tournaments.

The Lehigh men's and women's programs remain on pause and will not compete this weekend (Feb. 13-14). Both programs are now scheduled to returned to the court the weekend of Feb. 20-21.

The Lehigh men will now play Loyola Feb. 20-21 with a home game at Stabler Arena on Saturday Feb. 20 and a visit to Baltimore the following day.

Lehigh's women will face Colgate that weekend as the Mountain Hawks were scheduled to do, however the Feb. 20 game will now take place at Stabler Arena with Lehigh visiting Hamilton, N.Y. on Feb. 21.

Originally scheduled as a make-up weekend, Feb. 27-28 will now feature round two of The Rivalry, with Lehigh's women hosting Lafayette Feb. 27 and the men playing at Lafayette. On Feb. 28, the men will host the Leopards with the women visiting Easton.

The 2021 Patriot League Men's and Women's Basketball Championships will feature a reduced eight-team field. Two teams from each division will receive an automatic berth to the League championship based on their divisional record. The two final teams will qualify for the tournament based on their overall League record. Non-League games are not considered for tournament qualifications purposes.
