When the Mountain Hawks Recover a Turnover, Everyone in the Stadium Wins a Free Taco From El Jefe’s Taqueria.
Today, Lehigh University, in partnership with El Jefe's Taqueria, announced a new promotion for Mountain Hawk Football home games: Takeaways for Tacos. When the Mountain Hawks secure a takeaway, by intercepting a pass or recovering a fumble, the video in the link above will play and students who attend the home football game will receive a voucher for a free taco in their student email account shortly following the game. Non-students who attend the game can use their ticket stub to receive their free taco at El Jefe's following the game. El Jefe's is located at 506 East 3rd Street in Bethlehem. The offer will be good until the close of business on the Monday following the game so everyone will have two full days to claim their free taco.

El Jefe's Taqueria first opened its doors in September of 2015 in Harvard Square Massachusetts. It opened its second location in Bethlehem last year in August. At El Jefe's Taqueria they take pride in having authentic high-quality Mexican food at an affordable price – and most important – extras don't cost extra, even the guacamole. El Jefe's is open for breakfast starting at 8am and stays open late, until 3am daily for those who need a late-night snack.
The details and rules of the promotion are as follows:
To qualify for this offer you must attend a home Lehigh Mountain Hawks Football game.
Students who attend the game will receive an email redeemable for one (1) free taco in their Lehigh University Email Account shortly after the conclusion of the game. This email will be good for one (1) free taco of your choice, but you must show the email on your mobile device or print it out and bring it to the restaurant. The name on the email must match the name on your student ID or other picture ID. The offer will only be good until close of business the second calendar day after the game. So, for a Saturday game the offer will be good until close of business on Monday (which is actually 3 am on Tuesday…. slightly confusing but you will figure it all out.)
For non-students you can redeem your ticket stub after the game for your one (1) free taco. The ticket stub offer will also only be good until the close of business the second calendar day after the game. Limit one per ticket stub per person. You will need to surrender your ticket stub barcode to redeem the offer.
Limit one (1) free taco per person per home game.
