Ice Hockey Loses to Towson 5-1
2/4/2017 11:30:00 AM | Men's Ice Hockey (ACHA D1)
The Lehigh Ice Hockey team lost an important game to Towson last night, 5-1. The loss ensures a fourth or fifth place finish in the ECHA.Â
The game was 1-0 Towson after 1 period. After 2 periods, the score was 2-0 as Lehigh could not solve the Towson goaltender. The third period was more of the same. Finally, Lehigh scored shorthanded as Evan Goldstein found Keith Calvaruso skating up the middle of the ice. Calvaruso split 2 defenders and finished the play by getting the puck past the Towson netminder.
The Mountain Hawks move on to play Navy to continue league play.
