Lehigh's Taekwondo Team Takes Home The Gold

The Lehigh Taekwondo team had its first tournament of the season at Cornell on November 5th. This year the team consisted of twelve people, with nine of those being new to the club. With both the men's and women's competing against 40 other teams (six fights to win it all), one team made gold while the rest all made it to their second or third fights. However not only did one team make gold, the team as a whole also won most points scored for Division III with the few we brought (some schools bring a bus of people, while we had three cars). With everyone now having some tournament experience, there's high hopes for the team's future.

Names of winners are Ian Bender, Joey Kawash, Anuroop Alberts.
