The Lehigh Club Wrestling Team will send 2 wrestlers to the NCWA National Tournament in Orlando Florida beginning March 9th. The Mountain Hawks had three wrestlers place at the Mid-East Conference tournament held in Baltimore Maryland this past weekend. Leading the way for Lehigh was Freshmen Anthony Rivera (pictured right) at 197 lbs who dropped a 6-4 decision to Marcus Newsom of Temple University to finish in 2nd place and earn an automatic bid to Nationals. At 235 lbs Senior Joseph Ingaglio (pictured left) was upset in the preliminary round and went on to win 3 straight matches to battle back to the 3rd/4th bout. Ingaglio's win streak would run out in the medal round where he would ultimately finish 4th on the podium and also earn a bid to the National Tournament. Lastly Senior Matt Debenedittis (pictured centered) powered through a brutal 157lbs weight class to claim 8th place, but was unfortunately just one win short of receiving a wildcard bid to Nationals.

Ingaglio and Rivera will represent Lehigh Club Wrestling at the national level for the first time in the the 9 year history of the club.
