Lehigh tops Lafayette Saturday en route to second place finish at Navy Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – After defeating rival Lafayette in match play on Saturday, the Lehigh men's golf team settled for second place at the Navy Spring Invitational, falling 5-1 to the host Midshipmen in the final round Sunday at the Naval Academy Golf Course.
The Mountain Hawks defeated the Leopards 4-2 in Saturday afternoon's semifinal round with senior Zach Allinson, juniors Harley Abrams and Dave Olexson and freshman Billy Johns claiming wins.
On Sunday Lehigh's No.2 player, senior Carlos Kim, accounted for the Mountain Hawks' lone point, besting Bryce Keene 2 and 1.
Saturday morning's stroke play results were not immediately available.
The Mountain Hawks will face the Leopards in stroke play on April 22 in their final tune-up before the Patriot League Championship at Colgate April 25-26.
