NCAA Release
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The NCAA announced the latest Graduation Success Rate (GSR) report data Wednesday afternoon as well as Federal Graduation Rate (FGR) information for student-athletes who entered Lehigh in the 2008-2009 academic year. The data shows that Lehigh continues to graduate student-athletes at rates that are higher than the national average. The FGR and the GSR report only on student-athletes on our rosters that receive athletically related aid.   The GSR differs from the FGR by discounting the reported population for those student-athletes that transfer directly to another higher education institution and are in good academic standing.Â
Â
The four year FGR rate for student-athletes continued to increase (2005-2008 enrollees) in the most recent report year while the GSR remained constant for the same four year cohort.   In the FGR, the most recently reported single year class did show an increase in graduation percentage among student-athletes. The six year deadline for this class to complete their degree was August 31, 2014.
Â
Ten of Lehigh's varsity sport programs earned a perfect 100 percent GSR four-year graduation rate for the current report year (compared to nine last year):Â Men's Basketball, Women's Rowing, Women's Field Hockey, Women's Golf, Women's Lacrosse, Women's Soccer, Softball, Women's Swimming and Diving, Women's Tennis, Women's Volleyball.
Â
Five of Lehigh's varsity sport programs earned a perfect 100 percent FGR four-year graduation rate for the current report year (compared to seven last year):Â Women's Rowing, Women's Golf, Women's Lacrosse, Women's Swimming and Diving, Women's Tennis.
