BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A pair of Lehigh field hockey players have earned All-Patriot League honors as freshman Teresa Carotenuto was a unanimous selection for the first team while junior Marissa Glatt earned a spot on the second team, as announced on Tuesday. Carotenuto led the Mountain Hawks in goals (11) and points (22) while Glatt finished the season with three goals and six points.

Carotenuto becomes Lehigh's first freshman All-League honoree since Glatt, who also earned a spot on the first team in 2013.

Carotenuto tallied four multi-goal games in 2015, winning Patriot League Rookie of the Week twice and Offensive Player of the Week once. Two games after her first multi-goal game at Bucknell on Sept. 26, Carotenuto broke out with a career-high four goals in Lehigh's 4-0 shutout of Siena. The four goals were just one shy of tying the Patriot League all-time record for most goals in a game while the hat trick was Lehigh's first since 2012. The four goals were also the most by a Patriot League player since 2010 and are tied for the fourth most by any player in the nation this season.

Glatt enjoyed a strong junior campaign as an offensive force for the Mountain Hawks. Two years removed from first team All-League honors, she scored three goals: at Columbia, Sacred Heart and Colgate. Glatt scored the game's first goal in Lehigh's 2-1 overtime win at Colgate, helping propel the Mountain Hawks to two straight Patriot League victories to close out the season. Glatt led the Mountain Hawks in shots with 50 and shots on goal with 33.

The Mountain Hawks wrapped up their season 5-13 and 2-4 in league play, which included strong efforts against top teams. Lehigh closed out the year with road Patriot League wins at Colgate and Holy Cross, while its four league losses came by a total of seven goals. The Mountain Hawks took American to overtime while holding current No. 15 nationally-ranked Boston University to three goals, tying for the Terriers' lowest offensive output in a Patriot League game this season.
