Lehigh recognizes Patriot League 25th Anniversary Team members prior to Rivalry win

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh Athletics welcomed back members of the Patriot League's 25th Anniversary Teams on Saturday Nov. 21 for a reception and ceremony as part of the Lehigh-Lafayette football weekend.

The honorees and their families were treated to a pregame reception and slideshow ceremony in the new Smith Family Sports Performance Center at the Cundey Varsity House. Everyone in attendance then proceeded to Goodman Stadium for the 151st edition of the Lehigh-Lafayette football game, where Lehigh's 25th Anniversary Team members were recognized on the field during a second quarter timeout.

The Patriot League is celebrating its 25th year as an all-sports conference in 2015-16. The 25th anniversary teams were selected this summer and unveiled over three weeks in August prior to the start of the fall sports season. The 25th Anniversary teams recognized the top 25 student-athletes in a given sport to have competed in the league throughout its history.

Lehigh had 53 student-athletes named 25th Anniversary teams across 25 Patriot League sports.
