Lehigh University Ice Hockey Team looking for Volunteers
The Lehigh Ice Hockey Team needs volunteers to help keep the program growing. Positions available include Manager, Game Supervisor and Web Site Coordinator.
The Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities associated with the Team. The Manager can travel with the team. The Manager will coordinate all game activities including scoreboard management, maintenance of score sheet, entering of game results, introduction of players, music selection during game. The Manager will handle social media on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. During games, events from the game are posted to Twitter.
The Game Supervisor is responsible for all game activities including coordination with both coaches on game itinerary and roster entry. The Game Supervisor is responsible for game warm up procedures and coordination with referees. Duties also include scoreboard management, maintenance of score sheet, introduction of players and music selection during game.Â
The Web Site Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Lehigh University Ice Hockey Website. Tasks include writing stories after each game, update results on the website, procuring pictures for use on the website and updating social media.
These positions are available to anyone. Being a part of a club team like hockey looks good on a resume for students. Plus, you will have a lot of fun being associated with the program.
