BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Following a two-goal effort in Lehigh field hockey's 2-1 victory at Holy Cross, freshman Teresa Carotenuto was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Carotenuto's goals came in less than a 10-minute stretch in the first half, marking her 10th and 11th goals of the season, a team high and tied for second in the league.

The award marks Carotenuto's third Patriot League weekly award and first Offensive Player of the Week honor. The Macungie, Pa. native was named Rookie of the Week in consecutive weeks on Sept. 28 and Oct. 5.

Saturday at Holy Cross marked Carotenuto's fourth multi-goal game of the season. The goals came at the 22:07 and 31:20 marks to help Lehigh close out the season with two straight Patriot League victories (both on the road).

The Mountain Hawks took American to overtime while holding current No. 15 nationally-ranked Boston University to three goals, tying for the Terriers' lowest offensive output in a Patriot League game this season.
