
Lehigh unveils University-specific logo for #Rivalry150

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh Athletics has unveiled a special Lehigh-specific logo to commemorate the 150th meeting of college football's most-played rivalry when Lehigh battles Lafayette November 22 at Yankee Stadium in New York. This mark will serve as the primary identifier for all things exclusive to Lehigh including the game and its surrounding events.
The logo features a shield in Lehigh's distinct shade of brown with Lehigh's "L-Hawk" mark and "The Rivalry" tagline above the numerals 150. The mark will be used on all Lehigh Rivalry 150-specific merchandise that will be offered by LehighGear.com, the Official Store of Lehigh Athletics, and the Lehigh University Bookstore plus marketing and other materials specific to the game and the surrounding Rivalry Weekend events in New York.
The Lehigh-specific Rivalry 150 mark is different from the official game mark, which features both school logos plus Yankee Stadium's distinctive white frieze. The official game mark will be used solely in joint functions with Lafayette.
The first merchandise item featuring the new Lehigh game-specific logo is the 2014 Lehigh football schedule t-shirt which will debut Saturday when Lehigh hosts its annual Brown and White Spring Game at 10 a.m. inside Goodman Stadium. The shirt will also debut online at LehighGear.com Saturday afternoon.
